MUTUAL AID TO PLEASANT VALLEY, 2nd ALARM - 77 PEACH RD 1/25/13

Arlington was dispatched under automatic mutual aid with 32-14 to Pleasant Valley for a fire at 77 Peach Rd. 32-14 was first due, and found a heavy volume of fire extending up the outside of the structure. Pleasant Valley and Arlington firefighters streatched lines off of 32-14 and started to attack the fire. The fire had extended inside the structure and had gotten into the attic space. Firefighters had a difficult time knocking the fire down because it had gotten a good head start. The cold tempretures did not help firefighters in their efforts. Arlington was also dispatched with 32-52 on a 2nd alarm with the fast team to the scene and was soon put to work. Pleasant Valley and Arlington firefighters spent over an hour chasing the fire throughout the structure before getting it under controll. Units from Pleasant Valley, Arlington, Roosevelt and Lagrange operated at the scene. (GROUP 3)
