Arlington Professional Firefighters Chili Team took part in the New England Regional Chili competition in Somers Connecticut on May 2, 2009. Arlington won the 2nd place Peoples Choice Award.
Arlington responded with 32-52,16, 71 and 89 to a 2 car mva on Rt 44. On dispatch units were notified that the accident involved an oil truck and that there was a spill.
Arlington responded with 32-16, 52, 71,89, 32-72 and 87 to a 2 car mva on Rt 44 and Towsend Blvd. On arrival injuries seemed to be serious due to the dammage to one of the vehicles.
